Abbie Annetta Rodenberg

Abbie Annetta (Vorwald) Rodenberg was born the daughter of Charles and Nettie (Domeyer) Vorwald on August 10, 1922 in Cherry Valley. She passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at the Edgewood Convalescent Center. Abbie attended Cherry Valley Country School and later married Arthur Rodenberg April 23, 1942 in Baltimore Maryland. To this union they were blessed with six children. Abbie spent her years working for the Press as a printer, Mackeys store and worked with her husband doing electrical repair but being a homemaker was a full time job for her. Reading and crossword puzzles were the things Abbie enjoyed in her free time. Abbie will be missed by her four daughters, Gail Glawe of Manchester, Patricia Anderegg and Annette Rodenberg both of Eume, Ariz. Donna (Tom) Hudson of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two sons, Robert (Sue) Rodenberg of Guttenberg and Vernon (Mary Kay) Rodenberg of Gibsonville, N.C.; one sister in law, Clara Milford of Guttenberg; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Visitation: Saturday 9:30 - 10:30 A.M.
