Agnes Rahe

Survivors include her children: Karen (Leon) Funke, Ken (Shirley) Rahe both of Dyersville, Marilyn (Robert) Burlage of Monticello, IA, 17 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, brother & sisters-in-law: Tony (Rosemary) Rahe, Eileen Hermsen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald in 1970, one grandchild, Jill Rahe, two brothers: Albert and Greg Tauke, four sisters: Petronilla "Nell" Wegmann, Rose Hoefer, Hilda Fangman and Mildred White, and a grandson-in-law, Todd Koelker. Agnes was born on April 14, 1912, on the family farm West of Dyersville, Iowa, the daughter of Arnold and Katherine (Lueck) Tauke. She married Gerald Rahe on January 18, 1938, in Dyersville, Iowa. Together they farmed on the family farm until Gerald's death in 1970. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court St. Rose.
