Survivors include 2 daughters-in-law: Marjean Rausch of Dubuque and Sandy (Darrell) Schueller of Davenport, IA; 7 grandchildren: Scott (Tammy), Rick and Terry Rausch (sons of Patrick and Marjean), Sonya, Zach, Tyler and Clayton (children of Dennis and Sandy), a brother, Alfred (Leota) Schwers of Hiawatha and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo in 1983, 2 sons: Dennis in 1994 and Patrick in 1998; 2 brothers: Clarence and Julius Schwers and 2 sisters: Armella Klaren and Dolores Klaren. Aggie was born on January 28, 1913 in New Vienna, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph F. and Anna (Ploessel) Schwers. She married Leo John Rausch on February 12, 1947 in New Vienna, Iowa. Throughout her years Aggie worked at Glovers (Piekenbrock), Schaetzles in New Vienna and Rausch's Tavern in Luxemburg. She was a charter member of the V.F.W. and Hospital Auxiliaries. Friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2006, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville where a V.F.W. Aux. Rosary will be recited at 4:15 p.m. and a parish scripture service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, in Dyersville, Iowa with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Douglas Loecke. Memorials are preferred to St. Francis Xavier Basilica.
