Alan F. Moser, age 50 of Clarence, passed away on Saturday February 28, 2015 at the Clarence Nursing Home. Al was born on September 18, 1964 to Lowell and Cindy (Meade) Moser in Long Beach, California. He graduated from Guttenberg High School in 1983 and also from the University of Dubuque. He played baseball and football in college and that led to his love for coaching all sports at all levels. Al was a physical education teacher and coach at North Cedar for 19 years and had a great relationship with the kids he knew. He was more than just a coach to them. He was known for his "never empty" candy buckets. Al was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and loved hunting and taking care of his two dogs, Hayden and Rigley. He is survived by his parents; step daughters, Mallory Gritton and Martha Jesuit of Clarence; special friend, Molly Vitense of Clarence; brothers, Andrew (Lindsay) of Ames and Aaron of South Padre Island; sister, Angie (Steve) Rummelhart of Iowa City; nephew, Francis Rummelhart; and nieces, Abigail Rummelhart and Jasmine, Jade and Aysia Moser.
