Alberta Sargent

In Lieu of flowers, plants, benches, statuary, and all others gifts, the family would appreciate that all memorials be directed to the family of Alberta Sargent.Alberta Louise (Meisner) Sargent was born the daughter of Realto and Florence (Gull) Meisner, March 25, 1944, in Elkader, Iowa. She died Friday, August 8, 2008, at Guttenberg Care Center. Alberta graduated from the Guttenberg High School. On September 2, 1961, she was united in marriage with Lyle Sargent at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. She was a cook for the Guttenberg School for thirty-three years. Alberta was an avid Chicago Cubs and Hawkeye Basket Ball Fan. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Lyle; one daughter, Sara Noack of Guttenberg; one son, Dennis Sargent of Osterdock ; three grandchildren, Matthew Noack, Mark Noack and Grace Noack; two sisters, Kathryn (Larry) Borcherding of Guttenberg and Laura (Dave) Cullen of Ankeny; one brother, Ron (Chris) Hyde of Dubuque; one sister-in-law, Mardell Meisner of Guttenberg, and many friends and family.
