Alex B. Goerdt, 22, of San Tan Valley, Arizona died Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015, at St. Francis Cemetery, Dyersville, Iowa. Rev. Jeffrey Dole will officiate. Alex was born December 19, 1992 in Sierra Vista, Arizona the son of Glen and Marcia (Cech) Goerdt. Survivors include his parents, Glen and Marcia Goerdt of San Tan Valley, AZ., a sister, Alyssa (Ernie) Rimer of Murray, UT, nieces, Layla and Veronica Rimer of Murray, UT., aunts & uncles: Inez (Richard) Bartlett of Oceanside, CA, Eileen Hesselmann of Des Moines, Jean (Charles) Cecil of Alexandria, VA, Leon Goerdt of Manchester, Dr. Earl (Carol) Goerdt DVM and Russell Goerdt both of Dyersville, Alan (Lori) Goerdt of Vancouver, WA., Jerry (Cherie) Cech of Edgewater, FL., and Sharla (Morris) Schwartz of Daytona Beach, FL.
