Alfred H Reimer

Obituary Alfred H Reimer, age 79, of Saint Olaf, IA, died Sunday, July 21, 2019, at the Central Community Hospital in Elkader, IA. He was born in Lansing, IA, on December 7, 1939, the son of Henry and Laura (Holmes) Reimer. Over the years Alfred worked for numerous farmers as a farm hand from baling hay to helping with cattle. He enjoyed squirrel and mushroom hunting, fishing, playing softball, playing pool, watching western shows as well as game shows such as The Price is Right and most of all, Alfred thoroughly enjoyed visiting with friends. For more than 20 years, Alfred has been a resident of Scenic Acres in St. Olaf. Alfred is survived by his nieces and nephews, Gerald (Jean) Reimer, Mary (Don) Tyler, Lori (Greg) German, John (Karen) Reimer, Roger (Michelle) Reimer as well as 12 great nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews. Alfred was preceded in death by his parents; sister, June Waterman and brother, William Reimer.
