Allan Ray Meyer

Allan Ray Meyer, age 60, of Manchester, formerly of Elkader, IA, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at his daughters home in Manchester, IA. He was born on December 29, 1953, in Guttenberg, the son of Gerald and Marcella Meyer. Allan received his education locally and spent many years working on the railroad. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, reading books and watching westerns. Allan is survived by his two children, Davean (Loras) Puetz and Daniel Meyer; seven grandchildren, Andrea, Stephen, Korey, Jonathan, Alexa, Careena, Zachary; siblings, Marlene (Kurt) Hefel, Vince (Carol) Meyer, Valerie Meyer, Neal (Cindy) Meyer, Merl (Doris) Meyer, Chris Legrand and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Andrea and Jacklyn and one sister Pat Beck.Visitation: Saturday 9:00- 11:00 A.M.
