Allen C Leliefeld

Obituary Allen Cyril Leliefeld, age 82, of Guttenberg, IA, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at the Guttenberg Care Center. He was born on October 26, 1936, the only child of Albert "Riley" and Helen (Herman) Leliefeld. Allen graduated from the St. Marys Catholic High School and on June 1st, 1963, Al was united in marriage with Shirley Hinzman at St. Marys Church in Guttenberg. Allen worked for John Deere- Dubuque for 33 years until his retirement. He proudly served his country in the Army for 3 years. Those left to cherish his memory is Allens wife of 55 years, Shirley; daughter, Sandy (Jeff) Ashline; 5 grandchildren, Nick & Stephanie Ashline, Truman, Sophie & Charlie Cherne and many friends. Al was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Christine Cherne. In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred and may be sent to St. Marys Catholic Church or St. Marys Catholic School, 510 S 2nd St. Guttenberg IA 52052.
