Arthur Francis Adams

Arthur Francis Adams was born the son of Mathias and Catherine (Harshe) Adams on August 27, 1912, in Cassville WI. He passed away peacefully Friday September 14, 2007 in his own home surrounded by his loving family. Art attended the Turkey River Country School and farmed for many years. He also spent 10 years working on the railroad. On November 11, 1942 he was united in marriage with Ila "Snookie" Adams in North Buena Vista. Art enjoyed playing cards, pool, and sitting in his favorite chair that looked over Cassville while throwing back a couple beers. Those left to cherish his memory are is six children; Bea Davis of Garnavillo, Nancy (Roger) Klemp of Guttenberg, Tony (Mona) Adams of Garnavillo, Ilene (Kevin) Roeder of Guttenberg, Judy (Chuck) Reimer of Saint Olaf and Dave (Sheila) Adams of Holy Cross; Sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great- grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Adeline Knapp of Quincy, Colo., Elinor Pine of Prairie Du Chien, Wis. and Teresa Moser of Cedar Rapids; one brother, Clarence (Elaine) Adams of Dubuque. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two daughters, Linda and Jackie; one son in law Gerald Davis; siblings, Dorothy Meyer, Agnes Adams, Larry Adams, Hilda Nolte and Leona Walters.The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Hoffman, Heartland Hospice and special nurse Ann.Visitation: Sunday 3:00 - 8:00 P.M.
