Autumn L. Hall, 51, of Guttenberg, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023.
A visitation will be held from 1 – 4 p.m., Saturday, July 8, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg.
Autumn was born on January 21st, 1972, in Independence, Iowa. She, her parents (Skip and Marcia Hall), and her brother (Michael Horn) would remain in Independence until 1979. The family then relocated to Guttenberg, Iowa, where they lived on "the Island".
Autumn graduated from Guttenberg High School in 1990. She went on to attend Hamilton Business College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she received a degree in Business Administration. Autumn then returned to Guttenberg where she worked mainly in the food industry. She was married to Josh Usher in 1995 until 2005. They had one daughter (Bailee Usher) in 1996.
Autumn began a relationship with Alan Billmeyer in 2006, the two remained together until her passing. They had one daughter together (Ryann Billmeyer) in 2008. Alan also had a son from a previous relationship (Ethan Billmeyer), who became Autumn's step son. Autumn loved all of her children. She also had a great love for her only granddaughter (Charlee Hartfield), who she devoted herself to in the final years of her life.
Autumn was known for many things but most people would note her sense of humor, love of dogs and skills in the kitchen as being at the top of the list. In the later part of her life her main hobbies were her gnome collection (with help from her dear friend Martia Eimer) and going out for rides on her motorcycle whenever possible. Autumn had many friends and will be missed beyond words.
Autumn was preceded in death by her father Skip (E.H.) Hall, Stepfather Dennis Horn, and her brother Michael Horn.
She is survived by her mother Marcia Horn, spouse Alan Billmeyer, daughters Bailee Usher (Cody Hartfield) and Ryann Billmeyer, son Ethan Billmeyer (Shawn Gordon), granddaughter Charlee Hartfield, nephew Brandon Horn, great-niece Leslee Horn, and by her partner in crime and most loyal companion, her dog, Odin.
