Benjamin Guthrie Hunter

Benjamin Guthrie Hunter, age 86, of St. Olaf, IA, died Monday, December 5, 2016, at the Guttenberg Care Center. He was born on January 29, 1930, in Lochore Scotland, the son of John and Kathleen (Guthrie) Hunter. Ben migrated to the United States in his 20s and for many years, he worked as a heavy machine operator for the Blackhawk & Mohawk Foundation. Ben was a very proud member of Operating Engineer Union Local 234. For the past several years, Ben was a resident at Scenic Acres in St. Olaf. Service Information No services to be held
