DYERSVILLE, IOWA Bernice R. Kremer, 86, of Dyersville died Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Friends may call from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW, in Dyersville where a parish vigil service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friends may continue to call from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Dennis Quint. Bernice was born November 22, 1928, in Platteville, WI, the daughter of George and Rose (Siepker) Reuter. She married Joseph H. Kremer on September 8, 1951, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Platteville, WI. Over the years, she worked at the Dubuque Packing Co., Ertl Toy Co., and mainly waitressed at the Knight Light Supper Club and other area restaurants. She enjoyed bingo, golfing, gambling and spending time with her family. Survivors include her 5 sons: David of Cedar Rapids, Robert (Suzy) of Bennett, CO, Thomas (Dina) of Dubuque, Don (Mary) of Monticello, and Ron (Rose) of Clarence, 2 daughters: Nancy (Mike) Sisson of Liberty, MO and Kathy (Randy) Feldmann of Dyersville, a daughter-in-law, Jean Kremer of Dyersville, seventeen grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, Louise O'Neill of Danville, CA and Blanche Reuter of Onalaska, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, James, a daughter-in-law, Lynn, and an infant grandson, Derek Kremer; 3 brothers: Kenneth (Darlene), Ralph (Wilma) and LeRoy ( Betty) Reuter; a sister-in-law, Mary Jean (Hank) Gorney.
