Betty Jean Krambeer

Betty Jean (Piere) Krambeer was born the daughter of Roy and Fern (Miller) Piere on September 14, 1931 in Iowa City. She peacefully passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at the Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wis. Betty graduated from the Farmersburg High School in 1950 and later was united in marriage with L Dean Krambeer on September 29, 1950. Together they were blessed with 6 children which made being a homemaker a full time job for Betty. In her free time she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, making trips to the casino boats and following the Iowa Hawkeye sports. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband L Dean; one daughter, Maureen (Edward) Yankuns of Guttenberg; four sons, Murray (Monika) Krambeer of Bellevue, NE, Mickie (Donna) Krambeer of Farmersburg, Marty Krambeer of Guttenberg, and Matthew (Jeannie) Krambeer of Wadena, IA.; one brother, Ken (Maxine) Piere of Iowa City; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Mitcheal.Visitation: Friday 4:00-8:00 P.M.
