Caroline Willie

Caroline Kay Willie was born the daughter of Stanley Everett and Bertha (Billmeyer) White on March 25, 1945 on the family farm in Lower Cedar Creek. She passed away on Friday, October 6, 2006, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Caroline received her education locally and later married Duane H. Willie on June 5, 1965 at St. Johns Congregational Church in Garber. Together they farmed for many years. Caroline was a past womans president of the North East Iowa Antique Association, member of the 2-cylinder club; she was also a member of the Millville Pool Team. She also enjoyed playing darts, fishing, traveling and volunteering at St. Marys Catholic School. Those left to keep Carolines memory strong are her two daughters; Debra Rodenberg of Colesburg and Diana (Robert) Williams of Summerville, S.C.; six grandchildren, Ryan (Anna), Shannon (Ben) Kueter, Katie, Jessica, Sara and Robbie; two great-grandchildren, Madelynn and Olivia; two sisters, Sandra (Henry) Fassbinder IV, Norma Barnhart; three brothers, Kenneth (Julie) White, Gary (Janice) White and Michael White; Mother in law Edna Willie; sister in law Betty Deal; brothers in law, Gary (Pam) Willie, Lowell (Dottie) Wille, Ronnie Willie and Art (Julie) Willie. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, Lee Allen, Todd and Keith; one sister Linda Felder; sister in law Joyce Willie; two brothers in law, Michael Felder and Clyde "Doc" Deal.Visitation: Sunday 3:00-8:00 P.M.
