Carson Barnhart

Carson Lee Barnhart was born the son of Lowell and Edith (Latteyer) Barnhart, August 9, 1944, on the family farm near Colesburg. He died Saturday, February 26, 2005, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Carson graduated from the Guttenberg High School in 1962; served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam; and worked for the Ertl Toy Co. for 31 years. On May 4, 1968, he was united in marriage with Jeneen Jost at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa. He enjoyed working on cars, tractors and fixing things of all kinds, visiting with friends, and was a member of the Guttenberg American Legion Post 373. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jeneen; mother-in-law, Pearl Jost of Guttenberg; aunts, uncle, cousins, and friends.
