Charlotte Bildstein

Survivors include two daughters: Judy Birch of Dubuque, IA and Elaine (Greg) Wagner of Dyersville, IA; one son, Bob (Corlas) Bildstein of Dubuque, IA; 7 grandchildren: Jeff Birch, Todd (fiancée Lisa Then) Birch, Scott (Kelli) Wagner, Jason (Terri) Wagner, Jenny (Jason) Hillebrand and Brett Bildstein and Brianne Bildstein; 2 great-grandchildren: Abby Wagner and Claire Hillebrand; 1 sisters: Dorothy Klosterman of Manchester, IA; She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence, on July 3, 1999; a son, Joseph, 2 sisters: Irene Bruggemann and Evelyn Koopmann and 2 brothers: Edward and Laverne Kruse. Charlotte was born on June 21, 1925, in Petersburg, Iowa, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Engelken) Kruse. She married Clarence C. Bildstein April 30, 1946 in Petersburg, Iowa. She worked in the cafeteria at Ss. Peter & Paul School for many years. Charlotte was a good mother, grandmother and homemaker who enjoyed life to the fullest, loving to play cards, dance and work in her garden.
