Charlotte Horstman

Charlotte Irene Horstman, age 62, of Garnavillo, IA, died Friday, January 19, 2018, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Charlotte was born December 4, 1955 to Paul and Irene (Gamm) Landis in Oelwein Iowa. She attended and graduated from Starmont School. Charlotte met Fred Horstman and fell in love, they were married in 1980 and to this union one daughter was born Julia. Charlotte enjoyed spending her free time going camping, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was employed with the Casino Queen for 17years and was set to retire this month on the 28th. Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons Henry and Ian Rodenberg Jr., one brother Lloyd Landis. Left to cherish her memory are her husband; Fred Horstman, daughter Julia (Ian) Rodenberg, Step-Daughter Sarah Ritter, grandchildren Christopher and Patricia Rodenberg; siblings Mary (Steve) Herman, and Duane (Margaret) Landis; and many nieces nephews and friends.
