Surviving are 4 sons: Donald (Donna), Justin "Sarge" (Mary Lynn), Roger (fiancé Kathy Hoeger) and Clair (Doris), all of Dyersville; 1 daughter, Judy (Roger) Westemeier of Dyersville; 17 Grandchildren and 29 Great-grandchildren: 3 sisters: Irene Kramer of Epworth, IA, Kay Besler of Dyersville, IA and Alita Koeneke of Manchester, IA. He was preceded in death by his wife on April 14, 1987, a daughter-in-law, Jean Riesberg, on June 17, 2002; a grandson, Randy Westemeier on July 6, 1991, a great-granddaughter, Kallie Fowler, and 2 sisters: Liddie Cordeiro and Esther Riesberg. Clarence was born December 20, 1912, in New Vienna, IA the son of Anton and Mary (Eikens) Riesberg. He married Berneice Boge on June 21, 1938, in Dyersville, Iowa. Clarence worked as farm equipment mechanic for Koelker Implement in Dyersville for many years and was a member of the Dyersville Sportsman Club and the Knights of Columbus Council 1734. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing. A memorial fund has been established.
