Clarice Schwarz

Clarice was born October 11, 1907 in Amber, Iowa, the daughter of John and Anna (Faragher) Schwarz. She lived in South Dakota as a child before the family moved back to Manchester, Iowa. Clarice was employed as a teacher and she taught in the country school in the Manchester area. She later worked as an in home nurse for many years. She will be remembered for her love of God, good humor, and a belief in the good in everyone. She faced many hardships with courage and a remarkable positive spirit. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers John Edward and Myron Peter. Clarice died Monday, December 24, 2007 at the West Village Care Center in Independence, Iowa after a brief illness. Private burial services will take place on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello
