Clifford Christianson

Clifford Christianson was born the son of Henry and Mathilda (Halverson) Christianson on March 5, 1927, in Elgin Iowa. He died Sunday, December 25, 2005, at the Guttenberg Care Center. Clifford received his education locally and served his country proudly in the United States Navy during WWII. On November 1, 1949, he was united in marriage with Barbara Kurth at the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Farmersburg and later was blessed with four children. For several years, Clifford used his special skills as a carpenter building many things. In his free time, Clifford enjoyed fishing and cooking. Clifford will be sadly missed by his daughter, Kathy (John Kann) Judkins of Guttenberg; three sons, Steve (Janet) Christianson of Garnavillo, Paul (Connie) Christianson of Guttenberg, Jerry (Shirley) Christianson of Garnavillo; five sisters, Marjorie Martie of Decorah, Delores (Fred) Waalk of Cabot, Ark, Agnes (Merl) Gregerson of Onalaska, Wis, Betty (Bob) Kurdelmeyer of Monona, Velma (Bernell) Larson of Clinton; three brothers, Bill (Mildred) Christianson of Farmersburg, Henry (LaVonne) Christianson of Elgin, Charles (Irene) Christianson of Gowrie; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
