Clifton Strong

Clifton Paul "Kip" Strong of Guttenberg formerly of Prairie du Chien Wis, passed away Tuesday June 26, 2012, at his sister Jeans home. He was born on February 3, 1952, in Long Beach California to Virgil and Rose (Rutowicz) Strong. Kip graduated from Wilson High School and over the next several years worked in the manufacturing industry and later worked as a games dealer in various casinos. In his free time, Kip enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and always enjoyed a round of golf. Those left to cherish his memory are his three children, Teuka (Casey Halvorson) Harris of McGregor, Eric (Leah) Strong of LaCrosse Wis, Barbara (Chris Fenske) Strong of Mt. Horeb Wis; six grandchildren and one sister Jean McGrane of Guttenberg. Kip was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Barbara Scott.In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Kip and they may be sent to 103 Ohmer Ln McGregor IA 52157.Visitation: Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 P.M.
