Coralie Heller

Coralie "Cork" Heller was born the daughter of Everett and Ruth (Hileman) Younker on October 19, 1936 in Waterloo Iowa. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at the Guttenberg Care Center surrounded by her family. Coralie graduated from Fonda High School and spent over 28 years working as an office manager for Family Medicine Clinic with the Guttenberg Hospital. She started with the hospital since the front door open many years ago. On August 5, 1967 she was united in marriage with LaVerne "Snooks" Heller at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. Snooks passed away April 8, 1992. Coralie was a member of the Legion and AMVETS Auxiliary. She enjoyed trips to the casino boat and crocheting where she made many afghans. Coralie will be missed by her two sisters, Carol Ann (Donald) Simpson of Sioux City, IA and Cathy (Jerry) Handke of Guttenberg; two nephews, John (Trixie)Simpson and Brian (Sherri) Handke; one niece, Julie (Michael) Tuttle; several great- nieces and nephews; and her wonderful in laws.
