Dale E. Welsh

COLESBURG, IOWA

Dale E. Welsh, 79, of Colesburg, Iowa passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 at his home.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.

Dale was born on June 5, 1943 in Graham, Iowa, the son of Dennis and Esther (Bolsinger) Welsh .

Dale was a loving father and grandfather. His lifelong passion was racing, as a driver, car owner, fan, and one of the best track preparer in the country. He owned his own construction company as a fine carpenter. In his later years, he farmed for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors.

Survivors include his children: Scott (Tracey) Welsh, Robinn (George) Lewis, Tina (Mike) Spading, grandchildren: Tasha (Josh) Farmer, Keith (Crystal) Zerba, Ashley Seeman, Derrick Zerba, Lauren Welsh, great grandchildren: Kamree, Paige, and Jace Farmer, Broc Walker, Timmy Hill, Natalia, Nash, and Hank Zerba, and a sister, Nancy Welsh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: John Allen Welsh and Anne Welsh.

The family would like to thank the staff of Care Initiatives Hospice for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred as a memorial fund for Dale will be established.
