Daniel Meyer

Daniel P. Meyer, 24 of Dyersville, passed away in his sleep on Sunday, July 16, 2017, at home. A public visitation will be held from 2 - 8 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville. There will be a private family Celebration of Life. Daniel was born April 29, 1993, in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Russ and Winnie (Strubert) Meyer. He graduated with the Western Dubuque High School Class of 2011, and attended the University of South Dakota. He most recently resided in St. Paul, MN. Survivors include his parents, Russ and Winnie, a brother, Andrew of Dyersville; grandparents: Kathleen Strubert of St. Louis, MO and Patricia Meyer of Dyersville, IA; aunts and uncles: Patrick (Joyce), Catharine, Thomas, Ellen, Mary Ann, and John (Shelly) Strubert, Lori (Loren) Manternach, Julie Wells (special friend Jerry Prine), Sue (Rod) Lansing, Janet (Tom) Pappas, and Jim Humphreys; and cousins: Aaron Strubert, Hannah (Matthew) Waight, Kristen and Emily Humphreys, Megan (Kyle) Webber, Drew (Stephanie) and Aaron Manternach, Keri and Sara Wells, Ryan and Jerrad Lansing, Matt and Morgan McNaney He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Strubert, paternal grandfather, Richard “Dick” Meyer, and an aunt, Keri Humphreys.
