Daryl D. Ihde

Daryl Dean Ihde, age 57, of North Andover, Wis, formerly of Garnavillo, IA, died Thursday, December 29, 2011, at his home. He was born on August 23, 1954, to Calvin and Iola (Mueller) Ihde in Iowa. Daryl grew up in the Garnavillo area and graduated from the Garnavillo High School in 1972. For many years after school, Daryl farmed outside of the Garnavillo area and drove truck as well. Most of his life was spent working which he enjoyed but outside of that he also enjoyed going to farm auctions, spending time on the river or playing cards with his friends. Survivors include his two children, Tina (Jeff) Mclaskey and Chad (Amanda) Ihde; two step children, Angelia (Shawn) Rodenberg and Nena (Mark) Oliveira; five grandchildren and six step grandchildren; three siblings, Lynn (Kay) Ihde, Allen (Jenee) Ihde and Wanda (John) Conway; close companion, Lois Nemitz and many other family and friends. Daryl was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lois.In Lieu of flowers and all types of sympathy a memorial has been established in Daryl's name.
