David A Wirkler

Obituary David Arno Wirkler, age 71 of Garnavillo IA, died November 27th at the Guttenberg Care Center and is now rejoicing in heaven with his Lord and Savior. He was born May 12, 1949, son of Vern and Jeanne (Kregel) Wirkler. David graduated from the Garnavillo High School in 1967, and was one of first to attend and graduate Area One Vocational School in Calmar Iowa. Survivors include three brothers, Robert (Nancy) Wirkler of Waukon IA, John (Sherry) Wirkler of Lancaster WI, Don (Cheryl) Wirkler of Garnavillo IA, sister-in-laws Beverly Wirkler of Garnavillo, Claudia March of Sherrill Iowa, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Vern, mother Jeanne and three Brothers, Richard, Paul and Joe. David had a love for engines, the sound of an engine was like music to his ears. He also loved being in the field and did custom farming for many years. In a tractor and in the field was home to him. He loved tractor pulls, tractor parades, and eating out with friends.
