David Burkle

David A. Burkle, 66 of Dyersville, Iowa passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at the Good Neighbor Society, Garden View Hospice in Manchester, Iowa, after a short illness with pancreatic cancer. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville. Visitation will continue from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Kramer Funeral Home prior to funeral services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017, at St, Francis Xavier Basilica, in Dyersville, Iowa with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Dennis Quint will officiate. Dave was born October 16, 1950 in Manchester, Iowa the son of George and Thelma (Maiers) Burkle. He graduated from Beckman High School in the class of 1968. Dave’s occupation is what he loved most, truck driving from coast to coast all his life. Dave enjoyed playing cards and watching the Cubs. Survivors include his siblings: Ken (Julie) Burkle and Susan (Gary) Klostermann both of Manchester and Cindy Crock of Marion, and his nieces and nephews.
