Dean Dee Priem

Dean Dee Priem, age 74, of Garnavillo, IA, died Thursday, April 20, 2006, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital in Guttenberg. He was the son of the late Harvey Priem and the late Florence (Breitsprecher) Priem, born November 22, 1931, in Garnavillo. He served his country in the Navy during Korean War, and worked for Hoth Trucking and Kuhlman Quarries for many years. He was a member of Garnavillo Fire Department and Clay-Gar American Legion Post #723 for many years and enjoyed woodworking. On March 15, 1953, Dean was united in marriage with Gloria Decker at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Garnavillo. He is survived by his wife Gloria (Decker) Priem; One Daughter, Cathy (James) McLane of Garnavillo, IA One Son, Robert (Joyce) Priem of Elkader, IA One Sister, Betty Decker-Balk of Bend, Ore.
