Debra Dee Rodenberg

Obituary Debra Dee Rodenberg, age 53, of Garber, IA, died Thursday, June 27, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 23, 1965 in Manchester, IA, the daughter of Harold and Gloria (Wessel) Aulwes. Deb attended the Central Community School where she graduated with the class of 1984. That same year on September 22, 1984, Deb married Bruce Rodenberg at the St. Johns Congregational Church in Garber and were later blessed with two children, Nicole and Bruce Jr. Over the years Deb worked at Guttenberg Industries, Little Debbies Grocery Store, Fast Trak and Caseys General Store in Guttenberg where she was the Assistant Manager but also farmed with her family on the side. She like country music and going to tractor pulls with her family. Deb loved spending time and making memories with her family. Even though Deb fought brain cancer for 6 and a half years, she always managed to stay strong and positive no matter the outcome. Deb will be cherished by her husband of 34 years, Bruce; children, Nicole Rodenberg & Bruce Rodenberg Jr.; parents, Harold & Gloria Aulwes; 5 siblings, Marsha (LeRoy) Dugan, Steve (Mary) Aulwes, Jim Aulwes, Sue (Bill) Rademacher, Bill Aulwes and many other relatives and friends. Deb was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike & Dennis Aulwes. There will be a Private Service for Family and Relatives.
