Delpha Jean Moser

Delpha Jean (Decker) Moser was born the daughter of Elmer and Hazel (Ruckhaber) Decker, October 13, 1924, near Garnavillo. She died peacefully Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at home with her family by her side. Delpha attended the Little Red School House in Allamakee County; farmed with her family, mother of seven and was a homemaker for many years. On September 9, 1944, she was united in marriage with Andy P. Moser in Guttenberg. Delpha enjoyed writing poetry, embroidering, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the North East Iowa Antique Association Womens Auxiliary and Royal Neighbors Association. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Andy P.; four daughters, Carol (Ed) Schroeder of Iron River, Michigan, Leila (Lester) Hefel of Holy Cross, Penny (Tim) McGuine of San Antonio, Texas, and Becky (Jose) Cano of Clifton, Texas; three sons, Larry (Dorothy) Moser, Lonnie (Rose) Moser, and Lynn (Lorna) Moser all of Colesburg; 16 grandchildren 18 great-grandchildren; her uncle Jim (Sandy) Ruckhaber of Luana; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
