Diane Hendricks

Diane E. Hendricks, 61 of Monticello, Iowa died Saturday, April 23, 2011 peacefully at her home. Friends may call from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at the Monticello Baptist Church where a memorial service will commence at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the church. Diane was born on October 27, 1949 in Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of Cletus and Geraldine Trousdale Eike. She married Ron Hendricks on August 30, 1969 in Hopkinton, Iowa. Diane is survived by her husband Ron, her sons Brian Allen Hendricks and Robert David Hendricks both of Monticello Iowa; and Benjamin Michael Hendricks of Williamsburg, Virginia; two granddaughters, Courtney Lynn Hendricks and Emily Kay Hendricks and one grandson, Cody Allen Hendricks. She is also survived by her two brothers, Douglas Eike of Fremont California and Daniel Eike of Minneapolis, MN. Diane was a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker who loved spending time with her family and took great joy in their lives. She avidly pursued crocheting, scrap-booking, and sharing crafts with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her beloved Yorkie, Beau. Diane was preceded in death by her parents.
