Donald August "Donnie" Moser, was born the son of Sumner and Sarah (Pierce) Moser, June 12, 1940, in Iowa City. He died Sunday, September 2, 2007, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital following a long illness. Donnie graduated from the Guttenberg High School in 1958, and served his country in the United States Army and Navy in Vietnam. On October 23, 1965, he was united in marriage with Bonnie Knudtson at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. He was a truck driver, worked at Pattison Bros Terminal, Kanns Manufacturing, and delivered mail for the United States Mail Service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, TV, and spending time with his family, especially teasing his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife Bonnie; one daughter, Kristal Moser of Colesburg; three sisters, Betty Niehaus of Millville, Grace Mann of California, and Hilda (Richard) Kalina of Sikeston, Missouri; two brothers, Andrew (Delpha) Moser of Osterdock, and Henry (Corrine) Moser of Guttenberg; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
