Doris Deutmeyer

Doris was born on February 22, 1932 in New Vienna, Iowa, the daughter of Ulrich and Stella (Schneider) Keuter. She graduated from Xavier High School in 1949. Doris then married Henry (Hank) Deutmeyer on May 2, 1953 in Dyersville, Iowa. She catered for many years in the Dyersville area retiring recently. Doris and her late husband Hank were co-founders of Deutmeyer Nursery. Survivors include 3 sons: Paul (Sharon), Tom (Barb) and Dan (Heidi) all of Dyersville, 2 daughters, Jayne (Kevin) Burcham of Mt. Horeb, WI and Jodi (Jim) Raczka of Crystal Lake, IL, 14 grandchildren: Tony (fiancé Kristin Blackledge) Deutmeyer, Andy (Michelle) Deutmeyer, Beth Deutmeyer, Margene, Lindsay and April Deutmeyer, Audrey, Carly and Abby Deutmeyer, Elliott and Alec Burcham and Alexis, Rachel and Jared Raczka, one brother Lloyd (Judy) Keuter of Dyersville, 4 sisters-in-law: Delores Deutmeyer and Eileen Keuter both of Dyersville, Rita Klostermann and Rosie (Bill) Deppe, both of Manchester.
