Dorothy Wilson

Dorothy Wilson, age 98, of Guttenberg, IA, died Thursday, December 11, 2014, at the Guttenberg Care Center. She was born on February 25, 1916, in Guttenberg, the daughter of Ben and Anna Roth. Dorothy attended and graduated from the Guttenberg School System. Shortly after she graduated, Dorothy was united in marriage with Robert Wilson on September 2, 1935 at St. Marys Church in Guttenberg. Dorothy made a home for her and her husband for many years till Bob passed away in 1990. Dorothy was a charter member and dedicated volunteer to the Guttenberg Hospital Auxiliary for many years. For the past eight years, Dorothy has been a resident of the Guttenberg Care Center. Dorothy is survived by one brother, Ted (Elaine) Roth of Guttenberg; 14 nieces and nephews; two sisters in law, Ann Aschim and Peggy Graves both of Decorah; one brother in law, James Wilson of Cedar Rapids and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert; twin brothers, Arthur and Alois; sister, Katherine Clinton and great nephew, Michael Clinton.Visitation: Monday 9:00 - 11:00 A.M.
