Edna Youngblut

Mrs. Youngblut was born March 22, 1916 in Oran, Iowa, the daughter of Henry & Jenny (Stohr) Brickman. She married Burton H Youngblut on February 21, 1938 in St. John's Catholic Church in Waterloo, Iowa. Burt died on October 11, 2001. She and her husband farmed until 1966, then they owned and operated the in the Coast To Coast Store in Dyersville from 1967 to 1976. Edna was an avid outdoors person and loved to fish and work in her flower garden. Survivors include 2 sons, Lyle (Judi) Youngblut of Blackfoot, Idaho and Glen Youngblut of Bellevue, IA; 2 daughters, Cheryl (James) Reed of Independence, IA and Diane (Garry) Meier of Oran, IA. 15 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren. 1 brothers, Richard (Naomi) Brickman of Oran, Iowa She was preceded in death by her husband in 2001, 1 brother Dale, and a sister, Pauline, in infancy.
