Edward Greve

Edward Clarence Greve was born the son of Joseph and Anna (Jaeger) Greve on July 22, 1932 in North Buenie Vista Iowa. He died Saturday, August 14, 2010, at the Guttenberg Care Center. Edward received his education locally, farmed and worked for John Deere over the course of his life. He served his country proudly during the Korean War. On August 18, 1958 he was united in marriage with Marlene Adams at St. Raphaels Church in Dubuque. Together they raised six children. Edward enjoyed fishing, playing cards, dancing, working with his hands and he true passion was farming. Survivors include six children, Jan (Bob) Breitbach of Geneseo IL, Donald (Daisy) Greve of Las Vegas NV, Mary Graves of Dubuque, John (Kathy) Greve, David (Deb) Greve both of Guttenberg and Susan (Bryan) Mosely of Atlanta GA; Companion Eileen Jaeger; grandchildren, Tonya Woods and her children, Alyssa Pauley and Jenna Woods, Tami Daniels, Crystal Anderson and her children Walker, Holland & Nadia, Laura Winstead and her children Brody and Bryce, Christopher Greve, Jennifer Yoerger and her children Braydon and Aiva, Jodi Graves and her child Kylee DeMaio, Luke Graves, BriAnna Graves and her child Adalee, Johnny Greve, Jeremy Edward Greve, Jessica Greve, Justin Greve and his daughter Savanah, Sharie Greve and daughter Kayde and David Greve; siblings, Rose Baker of Dubuque, Ilene Powell of Cedar Rapids, Vern (Betty) Greve, Bob (Vera) Greve both of Central City, Anna Reinhardt and Mardell Meisner both of Guttenberg, Charlie (Judith) Greve of Holy Cross and Sharon (Bill) Boge of Dubuque. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, Joseph "Junior" and Elmer.Visitation: Tuesday 4:00 - 8:00 P.M.
