Eileen Mcelroy

Eileen Francis (Schultz) McElroy age 86, of Guttenberg, IA, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at the Guttenberg Care Center. She was born the daughter of Frederick and Louise (Rickliff) Schultz on February 16, 1921 in McGregor Iowa Eileen attended and graduated from the Farmersburg High School and was a hostess in the restaurant business for over 30 years. She married Duane Lubbers and together they were blessed with two sons. They later divorced and she then married Bud McElroy. Eileen enjoyed knitting and crocheting whenever she could. Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Terry (Joan) Lubbers of Guttenberg and William (Dianne) Lubbers of Dubuque; four grandchildren, David (Rita) Lubbers, Craig (Kari) Lubbers, Michael and Jared Lubbers; four great-grandchildren, Dakota, Danielle, Ella, Molly; one sister, Bonnie Trappe of Prairie du Chien; one brother, Carl (Florence) Schultz. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Jeffrey and two husbands, Duane Lubbers and Bud McElroy.
