Elaine A. Oberbroeckling

DYERSVILLE, IOWA

Elaine A. Oberbroeckling, 64 of Dubuque, Iowa passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Compassus Hospice facility in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023, at St. Paul Cemetery in Worthington, Iowa.

Elaine was born on December 13, 1958 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Jeanne (Bockenstedt) Oberbroeckling. Elaine was raised in Worthington on the family farm in her early years. She graduated from Western Dubuque High School in 1977. She worked as a CNA.

Survivors include her siblings: Milly Thissen of Bloomington, MN, Wayne Oberbroeckling of Worthington, Earl (Debbie) Oberbroeckling, Ron (Sharon) Oberbroeckling, Dean (Connie) Oberbroeckling all of Dyersville, Al Oberbroeckling of Marion, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Lou (James) Vorwald; a nephew, Jeff Vorwald; and brother-in-law, Herman Thissen.
