Esther Augusta Welsh

Esther Augusta Welsh, age 100, of Hiawatha, formerly of Graham, died Friday, November 7, 2014, at Hiawatha Care Center. She was born the daughter of Norman and Edna (Craig) Bolsinger, September 21, 1914, in Graham. Esther attended country school through 8th grade and graduated from Colesburg High School in 1932. She taught country school in Elkader, Buenie and Graham. On July 1, 1940 she married Dennis Edward Welsh in Manchester. Four children were born to this union. She is survived by her son, Dale of Graham and daughter, Nancy of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
