Ethel M. Baxter

Ethel M. Baxter, age 90, of Dunnellon, Fla., formerly of Garnavillo, IA, died Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Monroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Fla. She was born on August 23, 1922, the daughter of Creed and Rachel (Campbell) Jackson in Hamlintown Tennessee. After receiving her education, Ethel worked various restaurant jobs but the majority of her life was spent making a home for her family. Ethel enjoyed spending as much time with her family as she could while making time to travel which was a great fulfillment of joy throughout her lifetime. Ethel is survived by her two daughters, Barbara (Cecil) Barton of Dunnellon FL, Helen (L.B.) Manus of Clyde Ohio; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Don Marrifield and Frank Baxter; two sons, Don Marrifield Jr. and Roy Adkins; three step daughters, Deanna, Sandy, Linda and twelve siblings.Visitation: Thursday 4:00 - 7:00 P.M.
