Florence Leonard

Florence Sophronia (Gull) Leonard was born the daughter of John and Alberta (Hansel) Gull May 8, 1916, in Manor Saskatchewan Canada. She passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. After receiving her education, Florence farmed with her family for many years and then later worked for Muters for 22 years. She enjoyed quilting, playing cards, taking trips to the boat and being a member of TOPS. Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Kathyrn (Larry) Borcherding, Alberta (Lyle) Sargent both of Guttenberg and Laura (Dave) Cullen of Ankeny, one son Ron (Chris) Hyde of Dubuque; one daughter in law-Mardell Meisner of Colesburg, two step-daughters-Carol Brockway of Tripoli and Rita Mae Leonard of Guttenberg, one step-son-Robert Leonard of Dovray, Minn.; 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; one son Larry Meisner; one stepdaughter Mary Jane Eder: two sons-in-law George Brockway and Loren Kregel: and many brothers and sisters. In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Florence Leonard.Visitation: Thursday 3:00-8:00 P.M.
