Gene Streeper

Gene L. Streeper, 75, of Langworthy died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, at home surrounded by his family. Gene was born June 14, 1944, in Monticello the son of Walter and Kathleen Streeper. He married Pamela Schueler on Sept. 30, 1967, in Rock Falls, IL. Together they made their home in Langworthy. Gene was a self-employed truck driver for many years, hauling loads all across the United States. He loved to tinker with most anything that had a motor and so Stock Car Racing was an avocation for him. He raced on many local tracks over the years and he enjoyed many days watching NASCAR and Iowa Hawkeye Football. Gene will be fondly remembered by his wife, Pam, his daughter, Sandy (Kelly) Treviranus, and their children: Kory (Jenny Huber) and Katie Treviranus, all of Langworthy, and sisters-in-law, Paula Schueler of Rock Falls, IL and Deb (Paul) Duncan of Polo, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, Bud and Pauline Schueler, and a brother-in-law, Cork Schueler.
