Memorial services will be at a later date.Geraldine Spuhler, age 98, of Guttenberg, IA, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Guttenberg Care Center in Guttenberg, IA. She was born on October 24, 1914 in Brooklyn New York to Richard and Mary (Leslie) McClaren. Geraldine grew up in the Brooklyn area where she received her education. She later received her college degree from Packer University in Brooklyn. For many years, Geraldine worked for Cornell Dubilier in Des Plaines Illinois in the administration department. Geraldine moved to Guttenberg in her last years to be close to her son Barry. Geraldine is survived by her son, Barry (Wendy) Shea of Guttenberg; four grandchildren, Robin Mindt, Brian, Danny and Colleen Shea; one great grandchild, Marley Mindt. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and daughter, Mari Nell Shea. Service Information A service summary is not available
