Gladys M. Jaeger, 89, of Worthington, Iowa died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Monticello Nursing & Rehab. Center in Monticello, Iowa. Friends may call from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farley where a mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery, Farley, IA. Rev. Michael Schueller will officiate. Gladys was born June 10, 1924 in Worthington, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred and Alma (Klein) Tobin. She married Gerald Robert Jaeger on February 3, 1942 in Farley, Iowa. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1977. Survivors include her 4 children: Jackie (Dan) Conrad of Cascade, Roger Jaeger of Prairie Du Chein, WI, June Goerdt of Dyersville, Paul Jaeger of Worthington; 10 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 7 step-great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; siblings: Darlene (Carey) Ahlers both of Worthington, Shirley Rave of Farley, and Margie Althoff of Manchester. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Jaeger, siblings: Del Rose (Ernest) Ostwinkle, Alfred (Anna Mae) Tobin Jr., and Sylvester Tobin; in-laws: Clarence Althoff, Gilbert Rave, Forest (Clara) Jaeger, and Doris (Leo) Ostwinkle. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
