Harland G Grunder

Obituary Harland G. Grunder Jr., age 77, of Clayton, IA, died Thursday December 20, 2018, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. He was born on August 16, 1941 in Muscatine, the son of Harland Sr. and Anita (Hartman) Grunder. Harland is survived by his wife of 46 years, Anita; children, Scott (Sheri) Grunder, Mindy (Matt) Ehrsam & Angela (Evan) Ventris; grandchildren, Zoey, Ellie & Mollie Grunder, MaKenzie, Sydney & Tess Ehrsam & Tatum Humphrey; sister, Jeanita Harris and many other relatives and friends. Harland was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to thank everyone who reached out to Harland through a phone call or visit to laugh at his jokes and brighten his day. Thank you also to the volunteers of the Garnavillo EMS and fire department for always being available to help when Harland needed assistance. We are grateful to Dr. Hoffman and the staff of the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital for their kindness and support.
