Harold "Joby" Tindell was born the son of Joseph and Edith (Tindell) Moreland, November 12, 1914, near Millville, Iowa. He died Friday, September 23, 2005, at Manor Care Center in Dubuque, Iowa. Joby graduated from the Millville Country School, and served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He worked as a trucker, welder, on a towboat, and for Butchs DX Station for many years. Survivors include, one daughter, Starla Tindell of Charles City; two sons, Randy Tindell of New Hampton, and Greg Tindell of Clarksville, Arkansas; one sister, Kitty Klein of Tiffin, Iowa; four brothers, Gerald "Red" Block of Guttenberg, Tom Moreland of Dubuque, Frank Moreland of Dubuque, and John Moreland of Iowa City; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Rita Lea.Visitation: 4:00-7:00 P.M.
