Obituary Irene Waterman, age 95, of Dubuque, IA, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Manor Care Center in Dubuque, IA. She was born May 31, 1923 to John (Henry) and Josephine (Petsche) Kann in Guttenberg, IA, she attended St. Marys Catholic School. On October 5, 1946 Irene married the love of her life Dwight Waterman and to that union two children were born Rod and Tom. Irene spent her years making the family home one that was happy and loving, as well as spending time in her garden, she will be forever missed. Left to cherish her memory is her son Tom (Diane) Waterman, three grandchildren; Cale Waterman, Scott (Erica) Waterman, and Jennifer Waterman, four great grandchildren; Chloe, Callie, Kailey, and Lilly, one sister Lorraine Schneider, sister-in-law Shirley Kann, and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Rod (Whitey), brother; Henry Kann, Edward Kann, half-sister Alvina Ingwessen and half-brother Oliver Kann.
