Iva Mardell (White) Bolsinger was born the daughter of Elsie & Nelson White on April 26, 1927 at "Turkey River." She died Sunday, December 12, 2004, at Edgewood Convalescent Center after a long courageous battle with cancer. Iva received her education at the Hunter School. On March 7, 1943, she was united in marriage to Lorence (Bill) Bolsinger. She cherished her ten children, spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren & great-great grandchild. She also enjoyed cooking for her family; her specialty was homemade noodles, bread, and sugar cookies. She also loved to play cards, talk on the phone with family, and enjoyed fishing, gardening and canning. Those left to cherish in her memory are her ten children, four daughters; Sharon Beatty of Greeley, Judy (Richard) Hess of Dubuque, Janice (John) Moore of Volga, Connie (Jacob) Beeh of Elkader, six sons; Jimmy (Kay) Bolsinger of Greeley, Roger (Dianne) Bolsinger of Garber, Harvey (Special friend Heidi Meyer) Bolsinger of Strawberry Point, Rick (Carol) Bolsinger of Elkport, Dennis (Lisa) Bolsinger of Garber, Jeff (Darcy) Bolsinger of Elkport, one sister Florence Billmeyer, and one brother Lawrence White both of Elkport, twenty six grandchildren, thirty two great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents Elsie & Nelson White, three half-sisters, three half- brothers, four brothers and four sisters, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one daughter in-law, Deb Bolsinger and one son-in-law, Jerry Taylor.Visitation: 4:00-8:00 P.M.
