Jane Ungs

Survivors include her husband, Donnie, 2 sons: Nic of Nashville, TN, and Matt of Dyersville, IA, her father, Elmer Tegeler of Dyersville, IA, a sister, Bev Boeckenstedt of New Vienna, IA, her mother-in-law, Germaine Ungs, of Luxemburg, IA, brothers-in-law: Dennis (Alice) Ungs, Ron (Diane) Ungs and Mark (Jodi) Ungs, sisters-in-law: Joan Ungs, Carol (Dave) Ellis, Janet Ungs (friend Phil Malat), Nancy (Mike) Gadberry, a very special aunt, Bernice Merrick and many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna, father-in-law, Arthur Ungs and a brother-in-law, Mike Boeckenstedt. Jane was born on February 5, 1957 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer and Edna (Klosterman) Tegeler. She married Donnie Ungs on June 11, 1977 in Dyersville, Iowa. Jane was a graduate of Beckman High School, class of 1975. She loved watching her boys participate in baseball during the hot summer months. Jane had a passion for decorating and interior design. Friends may call from 2 - 8 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2008, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville where a parish scripture service will be held at 4 p.m. Jane would love to thank the oncology nurses and to Dr. Schultheis for the support and care over the last 8 years.
